MEET THE SPEAKERS

Kate Hu

Standup Comedian | TEDx Speaker | Bilingual Emcee | Life and Relationship Coach

Kate Hu is a former finance professional turned standup comedian, emcee, and life and relationship coach. After navigating her own journey of self-discovery and relationship challenges, she is now passionate about empowering women to find their unique voices and establish the fulfilling partnerships they deserve.

As a coach, Kate draws from her personal experiences as well as her professional training to guide her clients through the ups and downs of dating and relationships. She specializes in helping women cultivate self-awareness, communicate their needs effectively, and build the essential skills for lasting love.

In addition to her coaching practice, Kate also brings her infectious humor and relatability to the stage as a standup comedian. She uses comedy as a powerful tool to connect with audiences and share the honest truths about modern love and life.

Whether through one-on-one sessions, workshops, or her comedy performances, Kate's mission is to support men and women in unapologetically owning their worth and creating the fulfilling partnerships they desire. With her guidance, her clients learn to unlock their own path to conscious, enduring love.

Rebekah James

Executive Consultant at Connect Communication Ltd. Presentation Skills and Media Coach | Freelance Broadcaster | ex-BBC Radio & TV Presenter | Certified ICF Coach

Rebekah is a Communications, Presentation and Media Skills Coach, Freelance Broadcaster, and ex BBC Radio and TV Presenter. 

As an ICF Certified Coach, she help people communicate with impact and confidence to effectively deliver speeches, presentations and interviews. Her goal is for you to present with authenticity and as naturally as possible to your truest self. She also facilitate workshops for groups who wish to enhance their Presentation, Communication and Media Skills. 

As a Freelance Broadcaster, ex-BBC, RTHK Radio & TV Presenter, Rebekah also help Senior Executives, Sales Professionals & Managers to become effective presenters. She is passionate about instilling solid self-confidence in people who are fearful about presenting, speaking in public or exposing themselves to new social circumstances. 

During her 25+ year broadcasting career, Rebekah have presented The BAFTA Wales awards, read live BBC Radio News for 10 years, reported for BBC Radio 5 Live and Radio Wales, reported for ITV’s GMTV, presented her own live daily show ‘Beks’ for BBC Radio Cymru in Welsh for 9 years, worked on voice over jobs and MC’d dozens of events.
